Layouts of the forthcoming Eye magazine on the studio wall

While we’re working on the magazine we stick layouts on the meeting room wall, to get a sense of the structure of the issue. The theme of the centre well of Eye 72, out later in June, is illustration – in particular ‘The designer as illustrator’. For more details, sign up for the editor’s newsletter, which we’ll be sending out later this week.

This issue also marks the our first redesign for years: new typefaces throughout (with one small exception).
