| It is with great pleasure that we can announce the
date of the first Eye Forums.
Our superb panel comprises Mark Thomson (corporate design director,
HarperCollins), Nick Bell (award-winning exhibition designer, former
Eye creative director), Lucienne Roberts (designer, Sans + Baum, author
of Drip-dry shirts) and Daniel Eatock (artist and designer of the Big
Brother logo), who are all set to debate and discuss four 'burning issues'
that affect graphic design now. The chair is respected designer Ken
Garland (Galt Toys, CND, First Things First manifesto).
Participants will be encouraged to network, socialise, have fun, and
reflect upon some essential issues in design and visual culture
The event takes place at the Vaults and Great Room of RSA House
(8 John Adam Street, London WC2N 6EZ) on the evening of Thursday
23 November 2006.
