Lyrical approach to programmes

From Harry Woodrow, creative director, Multistorey, London

I just thought I’d clarify something in Richard Hollis’ article on theatre programmes (Eye no. 70 vol. 18): The Lyric Hammersmith programmes are put together by John Good, the specialist design house / printer, which works to original templates that we at Multistorey designed, within our branding guidelines and using our unique brushstroke text (which I hand-write for every headline – more graphic design masochism!).

We won the pitch to rebrand the theatre in the spring of 2006, and have been working with the Lyric on a daily basis ever since.
