Evi O. Studio: Feast between the lines

This Sydney-based studio brings high-energy illustration and lettering to editorial design for food [EXTRACT]

Indonesian-born, Sydney-based designer Evi O (the ‘O’ stands for Oetomo) designs cookbooks that are colourful and exuberant, filled with line drawings, digital illustrations, dripping paint and hand-rendered lettering. She has worked with food writers such as Bettina Campolucci Bordi, Tim Anderson and Matthew Evans, and admits that ‘this particular electric design energy our studio embodies has, for better or worse, become our signature.’
