Type Tuesday: We love books
5 March 2024, 7pm GMT
Location: St Bride Library, Bridewell Hall, London

‘We love books’, the first Type Tuesday of 2024, will be all about books and book design. We will be joined in person by two Italian-born designers – Luca Pitoni and Astrid Stavro. The evening will begin with a must-see presentation about Anita Klinz (1923-2013), ‘the first Italian art director’. Over two crucial decades at publisher Mondadori, Klinz transformed the look of Italian publishing. The forthcoming edition of Eye (106) will feature an English-language article based on Ostinata Bellezza, Luca Pitoni’s book about Klinz’s life and work.

Eye’s first Type Tuesday of 2024.
